Think REhosted a successful PPA webinar in cooperation with FlexiDAO
On July 22nd, Think RE GmbH hosted the webinar ‘Sourcing and Monitoring PPAs’ in cooperation with FlexiDAO. Over 50 participants attended the online event. During the webinar, speakers from both cleantech startups addressed the differing priorities between the comprehensive procurement process to close Power Purchase Agreements and the thorough controlling process when a PPA is in force.
Dr. Steffen Hundt, Think RE CEO and co-founder, kicked-off the webinar by welcoming all participants and his co-speaker Simone Accornero from FlexiDAO, emphasizing the importance of handling power purchase transactions effectively. Soon after both speakers introduced their innovative software solutions from which both energy consumers and sellers benefit and which covers the entire value chain of PPAs from procurement through monitoring.
RE Wave’s „Impact Analysis“tool succeeded in sparkingparticipants‘ interest
Think RE developed the sustainability online platform RE Wave where a first feature called „Impact Analysis“ has already been launched to identify countries qualified for closing Power Purchase Agreements. “To get electricity price forecasts and PPA price levels quickly and effectively, we offer our free Impact Analysis tool which also shows companies an individual impact of PPAs regarding their carbon footprint”, says Dr. Hundt and pointed out that the database consists of more than 32 countries. A number of corporate buyers have already used the free tool to gather more data on countries to facilitate their decision making process towards PPAs.
